PRIMARY ROLE
The Head of Patient Recruitment & Engagement will lead Alto’s global recruitment and engagement strategy across its clinical development programs. This role is responsible for designing and executing a data-driven, patient-centric recruitment model that accelerates study enrollment, enhances participant experience, and ensures operational accountability.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment and engagement strategy aligned with corporate and program objectives.
Build robust analytics frameworks to measure and optimize recruitment funnel performance.
Lead cross-functional collaboration with Clinical Operations, Data Science, and external partners to ensure seamless execution.
Drive patient engagement initiatives through strategic partnerships with advocacy groups and community organizations.
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across all recruitment activities.
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing recruitment and engagement team.
LOCATION
Mountain View, CA or Remote
SALARY RANGE
$160,000 - $245,000
Compensation includes a base salary, an annual target bonus, and an equity grant.
QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of experience in patient recruitment, clinical operations, or related functions, including 5+ years in a senior leadership capacity within biotech, pharma, or CRO settings.
Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding enrollment goals using analytics-driven methodologies.
Deep understanding of digital recruitment platforms, CRM systems, and data visualization tools.
Strong strategic, analytical, and executive communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MS, MPH, MBA, or equivalent) preferred.
